Electrons, pseudoparticles, and quasiparticles in the one-dimensional many-electron problem.

چکیده
We generalize the concept of quasiparticle for one-dimensional (1D) interacting electronic systems. The ↑ and ↓ quasiparticles recombine the pseudoparticle colors c and s (charge and spin at zero magnetic field) and are constituted by one manypseudoparticle topological momenton and one or two pseudoparticles. These excitations cannot be separated. We consider the case of the Hubbard chain. We show that the low-energy electron – quasiparticle transformation has a singular charater which justifies the perturbative and non-perturbative nature of the quantum problem in the pseudoparticle and electronic basis, respectively. This follows from the absence of zero-energy electron – quasiparticle overlap in 1D. The existence of Fermi-surface quasiparticles both in 1D and three dimensional (3D) many-electron systems suggests there existence in quantum liquids in dimensions 11 or whether it becomes finite as soon as we leave 1D remains an unsolved question.

We find the singular transformation between the electron operator and the pseu-doparticle operators for the Hubbard chain. We generalize the concept of quasiparti-cle to one-dimensional electronic systems which in 1D refers to many-pseudoparticle objects. We obtain explicit results for the electron renormalization factor, self energy, and vertex functions at the Fermi points. We also discuss th...

Introduction: Today, radiotherapy combined with surgery in the treatment of parotid tumors widely are used specially for high grade parotid tumors. One of concern and challenge issue of radiotherapy is that the treatment of these tumors with irregular surface due to the presence of external ear and region of different physical electron density (air cavities, dense bone, soft t...
متن کاملCalculation of Quasi-one-dimensional Interacting Electron Gas Using the Hartree-Fock Method
In this paper, the Hartree-Fock method has been formulated to investigate some of the ground state properties of quasi-one-dimensional interacting electron gas in the presence of the magnetic field. The bare coulomb interaction between electrons has been assumed. For this system, we have also computed some of its thermodynamic and magnetic properties such as the energy, pressure, incompressibil...
متن کاملInvestigation of electron correlation effects in armchair silicene nanoribbons
In this study, the electronic structure of armchair silicene nanoribbons (ASiNRs) is investigated for various widths using first-principle calculations and the framework of the density functional theory. Electronic structure of ASiNRs shows a direct band gap which is decreased with increasing the nanoribbon's width, showing an oscillatory behavior. The effective Coulomb interaction between loca...
متن کاملTopological Relationship Between One-Dimensional Box Model and Randić Indices in Linear Simple Conjugated Polyenes
The alternative double bonds and conjugation in the polyene compounds are one of the main properties in these compounds. Each carbon-carbon bonds in a polyene compound along the chain has appreciable double-bond character. The p-electrons are therefore not localized but are relatively free to move throughout the entire carbon skeleton as an one-dimensional box. The skeleton be considered as a r...
